FLORIDA surfer, Jasmine Gailey, started surfing the summer of 2014, in less than two months she felt she was ready to compete. Her first competition was Sept 1st 2014, the National Kidney Foundation Surf Festival. Even though she did not get the individual results she was looking for she learned alot that weekend and soon after started competing with the Gnarly Charley Surf Series. After dominating 3 seasons of the Girls U15 division with Gnarly Charley she decided to move onto the Eastern Surfing Association for 2015. In her first year of ESA, Jasmine took division wins in Girls U14 and Girls U16 earning her spot at the Eastern Surfing Association Southeast Regionals where she placed 3rd in both divisions despite some very tough and challenging conditions.
She has made it to the finals in almost every contest she has surfed, usually ending with a 1st or 2nd place. She keeps her surf skills progressing with daily training and she is also maintaining a 3.6 GPA, all while remaining a light to those around her and doing it all with a smile.
2018 ESA ALL-STAR TEAM.
