FLORIDA surfer Jasmine Gailey started surfing the summer of 2014. In less than two months, she felt she was ready to compete. Her first competition was in September of that year during The National Kidney Foundation Surf Festival. Though she did not get the individual results she was looking for, she learned a lot that weekend and soon after started competing with the Gnarly Charley Surf Series. After dominating three seasons of the Girls U15 division with Gnarly Charley she decided to move onto the Eastern Surfing Association for 2015. In her first year of ESA, Jasmine took division wins in Girls U14 and Girls U16, earning her spot at the Eastern Surfing Association Southeast Regionals where she placed 3rd in both divisions despite some very tough and challenging conditions.

She made it to the finals in almost every surf contest she has participated in, usually ending in first or second place. She keeps her surf skills progressing with daily training and maintains a GPA of 3.6, all the while keeping a positive and a smile on her face.
